Create the Profile
- Three elements make a record unique: Account name, Effective Date, and Producer. These are required fields.
- Region, Block Origin, and Block of Business need to be set up before you can create a profile.
- Carrier is required.
Click New to display the Submission window.
Document the profile section as follows:
Begin typing the account name. As you type, ESL Office displays accounts matching your entry. When you see the desired account, select it from the list to place it in the box. When you select the desired account, the Address; City, State Zip; and SIC Code boxes populate with the selected account's address and SIC code and description. To clear the box and the corresponding address and SIC boxes, click the small x at the right edge of the Account box.
Specify the policy's effective date here. You can either enter the date directly in the field, or click anywhere in the box to use the date picker tool.
Specify the received date here. By default, this displays the current date. You can change received date by entering the desired date directly in the box or clicking in the box to set the date using the date picker tool.
Specify the due date here. By default, this is one week past the current date. You can change due date by entering the desired date directly in the box or clicking in the box to set the date using the date picker tool.
Begin typing the producer name. As you type, ESL Office displays producers matching your entry. When you see the desired producer, select it from the list to place it in the box. When you select the desired producer, the City, State box populates with the producer's address. To clear the selected producer and corresponding address boxes, click the small x at the right edge of the Producer box.
Slide the toggle to Yes if the selected producer is the incumbent producer.
Begin typing the underwriter name. As you type, ESL Office displays underwriter contacts matching your entry. When you see the desired contact, select it from the list. To clear the box, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Begin typing the marketing contact name. As you type, ESL Office displays marketing contacts matching your entry. When you see the desired contact, select it from the list to place it in the box. To clear the box, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Begin typing the broker name. As you type, ESL Office displays brokers matching your entry. When you see the desired broker, select it form the list to place it in the box. Selecting a broker also populates the City, Sate box below with the broker's address. To clear the box and remove the address information, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Begin typing the agent of record's name. As you type, ESL Office displays agents matching your entry. When you see the desired agent, select it from the list to place it in the box. Selecting an agent of record also populates the City, State box below with the agent's address. To clear the box and remove the address information, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Begin typing the administrator's name. As you type, ESL Office displays administrators matching your entry. When you see the desired administrator, select it from the list to place it in the box. Selecting an administrator also populates the City, State box below with the administrator's address. To clear the box and remove the address information, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Slide the toggle to Yes if the selected administrator is an incumbent administrator.
Click the box and select the desired underwriting office from the list. Selecting an underwriting office also populates the City, State box below with the underwriting office address.
Begin typing the marketing rep name. As you type, ESL Office displays results matching your entry. When you see the desired marketing rep, select it from the list to place it in the box. To clear the box, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Begin typing the underwriter name. As you type, ESL Office displays results matching your entry. When you see the desired underwriter, select it from the list to place it in the box. To clear the box, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Begin typing the underwriting assistant name. As you type, ESL Office displays results matching your entry. When you see the desired underwriting assistant, select it from the list to place it in the box. To clear the box, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Click the box and select the desired region from the list.
Slide the toggle to New or Renewal as desired.
Populates as New Business and is locked if you slid the New / Renewal toggle to New. If you set the toggle to Renewal, the box becomes active and allows you to select the renewal tier. Select the tier by clicking the box and choosing the desired value from the list.
Click the box and select the desired carrier from the list. Selecting a carrier populates the City, State box below with that carrier's address.
Click the box and choose the desired status from the list.
Click the box and select the reason for the quote status from the list.
Click the box and select the desired value from the list.
Begin typing the competitor name in the box. As you type, ESL Office displays results matching your entry. When you see the desired competitor, select it from the list to place it in the box. To clear the box, click the small x at the right edge of the box.
Click the box and select the desired reason for the quote from the list.
Click the box and select the most likely quote option from the list.
Slide the toggle to the desired quote priority.
Use the toggle to specify whether or not the quote is a duplicate.
Click Save.
