Standard Tiers

Tiers appear in the following tokens in the policy.xml and take the values shown below.

  • #Rates.Rate.SpRateTierSchedule
  • #Rates.Rate.AgRateTierSchedule
  • #Factors.Factor.AgFactorTierSchedule
TS01
Tier One: Employee or Composite. Puts data in rate or factor tokens ending in EE. For example, #Rates.Rate.SpRateEE.
TS02
Tier Two: Employee and Family. Puts data in rate or factor tokens ending in EE and EF. For example, #Rates.Rate.SpRateEE and #Rates.Rate.SpRateEF.
TS03
Tier Three: Employee, Dependent, and Family. Puts data in rate or factor tokens ending in EE, ED, and EF. For example, #Rates.Rate.SpRateEE, #Rates.Rate.SpRateED, and #Rates.Rate.SpRateEF.
TS04
Tier Four: Employee, Spouse, Child, and Family. Puts data in rate or factor tokens ending in EE, ES, EC, and EF. For example, #Rates.Rate.SpRateEE, #Rates.Rate.SpRateES, #Rates.Rate.SpRateEC, and #Rates.Rate.SpRateEF.
