Query Search

Click the Check Register tab.

Click the Query button to display the Query window.

A
Criteria category. Click a category to display its criteria.

Criteria for the selected category. Click a criteria to define its parameters and add it to the query.

Your query displays here as you build it.

Build your query by selecting and defining the desired criteria as described below. Click a criteria category to see its corresponding criteria.

Disbursement Criteria

Account
Pick List parameter that let's you specify one or more accounts to search. Records matching the selected account(s) are returned in search results.
Amount
Value Range parameter that lets you set an amount range. Payees with amounts in the specified range are returned in search results.
Check Date
Date Range parameter that lets you specify a date range for checks. Payees with checks paid within the specified date range are returned in search results.
Hold
Boolean parameter. Checks with the specified hold status are returned in search results.
Payee
Multi-select Text parameter that lets you specify one or more payees to search. Only selected payees are returned in search results.
Payment Type
Pick List parameter. Only records matching the specified payment type are returned in search results.
Requested Date
Date Range parameter. Only records with the specified requested date are returned in search results.
Status
Pick List parameter. Only records with the specified status(es) are returned in search results.
Type
Pick List parameters. Only records with the specified type(s) are returned in search results.

Policy Criteria

Carrier
Multi-select Text parameter that lets you specify one or more carriers to search. Only selected carriers are returned in search results.
Effective Date
Date Range parameter. Only records with the specified effective policy date are returned in searches.
Office
Multi-select Text parameter that lets you specify one or more offices to search. Only selected offices are returned in search results.
Policy
Multi-select Text parameter that lets you specify one or more policies to search. Only selected policies are returned in search results.
Treaty
Pick List parameter. Only records containing the selected Treaties are returned in search results.

Make any changes to the query as needed by clicking the criteria's Edit button in the Criteria pane.

A
Expands all query criteria items.
B
Collapses all query criteria items.
C
Removes all criteria from the query.
D
Lets you edit the currently select criteria.
E
Deletes the currently selected criteria.

If you want to keep the query to use again, click Save to Favorites to display the Save to Favorites window. Give the query a name in the Name field and click Save.

Click Execute to run the query.

If you want to run an existing query, click Open Favorites, select the query and click OK, then click Execute.
