Reference XML Overview

When you generate a document from a coded template, ESL Office runs an SQL stored procedure on the selected record and builds an XML file with the record data. The template then uses this XML as its data source when building the document. The record xml is not user-accessible, so the following reference xml are provided to allow you to properly code your templates. Any xml for the indicated policy type will have the structure of this reference xml for all standard ESL Office installations. If you have a custom installation, contact your Young Consulting representative for an appropriate reference XML.
