Annotate a Policy Journal

Use the annotate feature when you want to edit a journal without overwriting the journal contents. Annotations are useful when you want to preserve an audit trail for a specific journal.

View the desired journal.

Click the journal you want to then click Tasks and choose Annotate to display the Journal Annotate window.

Enter any annotation text in the Note area. Use the controls on the toolbar to set typeface and text alignment as desired.

If you want to attach a file as part of the annotation, click Attachment and locate the desired file.

Click Save to create the annotation and close the Journal Annotate window. The annotation appears below the journal content, separated by a horizontal line.
